Distance
Digital photography prints, each 6 x 16in
As we move forward, time in a physical sense changes with us, but our mind can still be trapped within a certain time. We seem to live in a particular time on repeat if we never learned to let memories become the past. This work aims to illustrate the distance from reality and the general sense of time. They portray a moment that one’s consciousness is stuck within; struggling between consciousness and reality. It questions one’s willingness to participate in the current: do we want to leave the moment that we trap ourselves in?
